The Institute has an interdisciplinary research function which generates knowledge to support our policy advisory, strategy development and training components and other specialized client needs.

Our research is designed to ensure high quality, relevant and practical output. We undertake various types of research, surveys and evaluations in the areas of governance, rule of law, electoral management, constitutional development, devolution, public finance, and human rights.
